Bunny Collectors and fans of vintage crochet will enjoy this framed hand crocheted Bunny Doily made by me from an old pattern by Lucille Laflamme published in the 1996 edition of Magic Crochet Magazine. It is a rectangle shape filet crochet style doily which would look great in a den or nursery arranged with some collector's bunnies.
I used a fine cotton quilting thread and a 0.4 mm crochet hook with a hook so tiny it is barely visible to the naked eye. The finished doily measures about 5 3/4" x 7" and it is mounted on a 8"x 10" piece of purple felt. The doily has a bunny motif surrounded by hearts and tulips and it says "Some Bunny Loves You." The bunny has a purple ribbon bow.
It comes in a white ornate plastic frame with glass to protect it from dust. It has an easel back so it can be displayed on a shelf or table/mantel/desk or it can be hung on a wall. The outside dimensions of the frame is 11 1/2"x 13 1/2".
You have the option of purchasing the doily with the frame shown or without (in case you would like to use your own or different frame)
Please use the drop down menu to choose when placing your order. It took about 30 hours and a lot of patience to crochet this doily in such a small format and the price reflects the time needed to make this vintage piece.
